Roles & Responsibilities of a Garment Merchandiser Coordinate with buyers to understand product requirements, specifications, and timelines Plan and manage the entire order process from sampling to final shipment Communicate with production, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow Source fabrics, trims, and accessories required for garment production Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with vendors and suppliers Follow up on sample development, approvals, and modifications Ensure quality standards are maintained during production Track order status and provide regular updates to buyers or management Handle documentation related to orders, shipments, and export procedures
